We grew up next to the world's best tea region, yet we drank mediocre tea anyway. So, we decided to do something about it.

## Why Nevisan Exists
Growing up in Guwahati, we watched Assam's most beautiful teas leave on trucks — only to return as broken dust inside someone else's brand. We drank that dust like everyone else. Until we stopped and asked: **what does the actual leaf taste like?**

That question led us to Golaghat. To Tailor Made Tea — a small processing house that handles the leaf the way it deserves to be handled. One garden. Whole leaves. Nothing added. That's Nevisan.

## The Founders (Nishant & Uditi)
Nevisan was founded in 2025 by a husband-and-wife duo in Guwahati who wanted to make real Assam whole leaf tea accessible to people across India.

### Nishant Jain (Founder)
Nishant grew up in Guwahati with tea gardens practically in his backyard, yet the tea served at home was still mediocre dust. That contradiction never sat right with him. Nevisan is his answer: getting the real whole leaf directly to the people who appreciate it.

### Uditi Jain (Founder & Creative Director)
Uditi believes the way something feels matters as much as what it does. She shapes the creative experience of Nevisan — the branding, packaging, and the quiet ritual of opening a pack and brewing.
