Lemongrass and Spearmint for mornings. Chamomile and GABA for evenings. Here’s why each tea works best at certain times.
Not all teas are equal at all hours. The compounds in each variety interact differently with your body depending on where you are in your daily rhythm.
Morning (6am – 12pm): Organic Green Tea or Lemongrass Green Tea. Both deliver clean caffeine combined with L-theanine — a calm, sustained alertness without the cortisol spike of coffee. Lemongrass adds a digestive benefit that’s useful after overnight fasting. Spearmint works well mid-morning if you’re prone to hormonal breakouts.
Afternoon (12pm – 5pm): Rum or Whiskey Green Tea. The bold character suits the afternoon energy dip, while the green tea base maintains mental alertness. Blue Flower is also excellent here — it’s visually striking and mildly calming without making you sleepy.
Evening (5pm – bedtime): Chamomile or GABA Oolong. Chamomile for those who want to fully unwind and improve sleep quality. GABA Oolong for those who want to relax while staying mentally present — ideal for creative work or quiet reading.
Tulsi works at any hour — it’s an adaptogen, meaning it reads what your body needs (energy or calm) and responds accordingly.
