Rum Green Tea: How We Made It
The first 7 attempts were terrible. We tried rum extract, rum essence, rum flavoring — all artificial, all tasting like chemicals. We threw them all out.
Attempts 8 through 12 were better but still not quite there. We experimented with toasted oak, vanilla bean, molasses — natural botanicals that could mimic the warmth and depth of aged rum without the alcohol.
Attempt 13 was close. Attempt 14 was the one. A blend of toasted oak wood, a touch of molasses, and cold-extraction into our organic green tea base. No alcohol, no artificial flavoring, no sweeteners. Just natural botanicals and patience.
If you want to try it, our [Rum Green Tea](https://nevisan.in/products/rum-green-tea) is available now. No alcohol, no artificial flavors, no sweeteners. Just natural botanicals and patience.
